DARIEN, Conn. -- Amanda Smith Caterers will open its new boutique, tasting space and offices on the Post Road across from the pubic library in Darien on Saturday, March 1.
An open house will be held with special treats on Saturday as well as Monday through Friday, March 3 to 7. The space is located at 1480 Post Road.
This new space offers a state-of-the-art kitchen to host cooking classes and demos as well as an office where clients can discuss the details of their events, have a formal tasting, or pick up Amanda Smith Caterers new En Route dinner service.
Amanda Smith Caterers is a full-service catering and event planning company established in New York in 2002 that expanded to Connecticut in 2011.
"Expanding to Connecticut was a dream and our charming new location on the Post Road is just
perfect,” said Amanda Pilar Smith, owner. “We love the town, the community, and the easy access from the I–95,” she said, referring to the space she just acquired off Exit 11.
Servicing both corporate and private clientele, Amanda Smith Caterers provides individualized attention to every client. The business includes dinners at home, corporate luncheons, and weddings for 500.
En Route by Amanda Smith Caterers is a farm–to–table take home dinner service offering freshly prepared meals for those who do not have time to cook. “Many of our clients commented that they wished they could eat our fresh food every day. Now they can.” Smith said of the new service.
En Route offers healthy, every day options that
are cooked fresh every morning with locally sourced products and packed in oven-ready, recyclable containers ready for customers to pick up en route home, to school or other activities.
